NAME
pwcrypt - encrypt a password from stdin
 
SYNOPSIS
edrc/bin/pwcrypt
 
AVAILABILITY
WA2L/edrc
 
DESCRIPTION
encrypt a plain password.
The plain password can be entered interactively or can be
passed via pipe or input redirection.
The crypted password can be used in
/etc/passwd
of SunOS, Solaris, HP-11 (untrusted), HP-11ia (untrusted) and Linux.
