NAME

nologin - issue a security violation and exit

 

SYNOPSIS

edrc/bin/nologin

 

AVAILABILITY

WA2L/edrc

 

DESCRIPTION

issue a security violation message and exit.

The intention of this command is to forbid system login for certain user accounts by using this command instead of a login shell in /etc/passwd(4) or the related name service.
